In 2005 I told my friends I was moving to New York City to find my wife and drag her out of the city. I had lived in a number of places from Boston to Arizona, Colorado, and North Carolina and every time I walked the streets of NYC I fell in love (lust) with 15 or 20 women. They all seemed to be so confident and strong and full of life. At the same time, I knew that I needed to live amongst the trees. It took me 10 years. In 2015, after a decade in Williamsburg, with our first son running circles around the apartment and our second on the way, we bought a house in Beacon. We had always played with the idea of working together, but it was only after leaving her practice in the city that Hana saw that the next step for her was going to be about bringing her therapeutic training into a coaching practice focused on career change. Now I feel like we, and our long time friend and colleague Michael Stern, offer truly complimentary skillsets that allow us to be of service to far more people.
